What are we doing yelling in the house
All the time and at the same time
If when everyone talks, no one listens
If when no one listens, we are alone
What are we doing creating distance
In such a small space
That is only big if we are united

Each one on their own, it's not family
If we don't meet, we just stumble upon each other
Because this brief and shared space
For which the same God has chosen us
Is only a family when we love

What are we doing wasting seconds
If our time is limited
And with each moment, there is one less day
To tell each other how much we love
What are we doing silencing the good
And publicizing the flaws
If roses don't have thorns
Then what we have is no longer a garden
