Petit caillou
Amélie Les Crayons
Little Pebble
A little pebble hit my shoe
It said 'Ouch! You're tough,
All there is are appointments,
I'm leaving with you.'
I picked up the pretty little pebble
Slipped it into the hole
In my worn pocket
And I went away
The little pebble trembling in my lining
Is much softer than it is hard
Tickling my hip
So I can think
It's my treasure, my cuddly toy
To my little pebble I tell everything
It accompanies my seasons
As long as it's there, it's all good!
Little pebble, I would only love you (repeat)
A handsome man hit my car
He said 'You, you're ripe!
There's room under my roof
I'll take you with me.'
I followed the man with crazy hair
We got all turned around
I took off my coat
I was way too hot
Little pebble, don't be jealous
Little pebble, I didn't know,
That love isn't shared
It multiplies, infinitely.
