No Hay Dios Como Mi Dios
Ana Arroyo
There is no God like my God
When I look at the heavens and the earth
And contemplate the landscape of the sea
At night I observe the stars
In the mornings I hear the birds singing
When the Sun rises over the hill
I marvel at what my God created
And I have to say with all my soul
There is no God like my God
And I have to say with all my soul
There is no God like my God
When Elijah faced the prophets
Who called for fire from Baal
They cut their bodies until they bled
But they did not see their God send fire
Yet Elijah, very calm, looked to the heavens
And in confidence asked fire from my God
Quickly fire came down from the heavens
There is no God like my God
Quickly fire came down from the heavens
There is no God like my God
Many serve gods of wood
Gods of plaster and even of metal
They do not see, do not hear, do not speak
Since they cannot walk, they have to be carried
But my God has His throne up in the sky
He is a living God who answers prayer
And in the presence of my God the earth trembles
There is no God like my God
And in the presence of my God the earth trembles
There is no God like my God
There is no God
