A mix of blood and fire
A third of this world will burn
I want to be far away, I want to be in heaven
When the angel blows the first trumpet

A great meteor will fall into the sea
When the trumpet sounds for the second time
Taking a third to destruction
I don’t want to be there for that

When the trumpet blows for the third time
A great star will fall from the sky
Destroying the sources of the waters
Poisoned, many men will die

When the fourth trumpet sounds, the sun will lose its light
The moon won’t have that seductive glow
The day will be night, the night will be day
I want to be in glory with Jesus
He’s coming soon, He’s coming soon
My Jesus will return

I want to be beyond it all
I don’t belong to this world
I’ll keep my faith so I don’t lose my crown
I need to walk in holiness, to see the face of my groom
And worship in excellence, the Almighty

And when the trumpet sounds for the fifth time
The gates of hell will then open wide
Evil will be unleashed to torment
Those who were not faithful to Jehovah

Men will want to surrender to death
And surely it will flee from them
Desperately they will cry: Forgive me
For five months they will remain like this

And when the trumpet sounds for the sixth time
200 million angels from hell will come
They are the riders of destruction
Killing a third of the population

And when the seventh angel blows the last trumpet
There will be great voices in heaven saying
The kingdoms of the world have become our Lord's
And of our Jesus Christ, and He will reign forever
And the twenty-four elders sitting on their thrones
Will fall on their faces and worship Him in spirit and truth

I don’t want to be here when the trumpets sound
