Batismo No Ônibus

There was a brother who wanted to be baptized with divine fire
To be Pentecostal, and he went to a party
A blessed service where the mountain was smoking, it was total fire
In the middle of that fire, a little sister full of spirit
Baptized by Jesus, got up from her seat, started to march
And dance in the church, and the brother seeing that, soon doubted and said
I want to be baptized with fire, but to be like that?
I don’t want it and I don’t believe it

Jesus Christ used a vessel in the Congregation
Sent to where that brother was and said
I’m going to baptize you on a packed bus

Then, the brother touched another guy next to him and said
That prophecy wasn’t for me
Because I own a big company, I have a fleet of cars
I don’t ride the bus

Yeah, but what God says, God fulfills!
A few days later, one day he wakes up to go to his company
Tries to start the first car and it won’t start
Goes to the second car
It won’t start, and so it went one by one
The Holy Spirit didn’t let any of them start!
When he got to the last car he remembered the prophecy and thought
Alright, it’s going to come true today, but I’m not taking the bus, I’m taking a taxi

Yeah, but look how God works!
And he went to the stop to wait for a taxi
The ones passing by were full, to his dismay
And suddenly a bus stops for where he was going
And it was packed, he couldn’t even fit
I’m going to be late, but I’m not getting on that one!
Suddenly, here comes another one, to his relief
Jesus had mercy, and the blessing arrived
The same one that passed, but now it was empty

Then, the brother thought
Alright, the bus is empty
The prophecy can’t come true
My company isn’t that far, it won’t fill up

Yeah, but suddenly the brother starts to remember that blessed service
Forgets the prophecy and starts to glorify
Oh glory! Oh what a nice service! Oh glory to Jesus!
And the brother, glorifying, doesn’t even notice that the packed bus that passed broke down
And the people had to all switch to the bus he was on

Yeah, he was caught up giving glory, hallelujah
Suddenly, at a certain moment, Jesus
POW! Baptizes the brother with the Holy Spirit
The brother starts speaking in strange tongues, can’t stay seated
Stands up and starts marching, all dressed up
In a suit and the bus turns into a commotion

The driver stops the bus and asks
What the hell is going on in there?
Someone says
Driver, there’s a man in here who’s gone crazy
He’s speaking a language no one understands and when we touch him, we get shocked
My God! What do we do?
Ah, let’s get this guy out of here and call the cops to do something
Take him to the hospital or the loony bin, he can’t stay in here

Yeah
It was a struggle to get the brother out
And all the people got off to see what would happen
They formed a circle, that crowd
There was so much blessing, so many Hail Marys
They went to call the cops
Who already had a hard time making a path through the crowd that was there
And when the cop saw the brother, he hugged him
And in tongues, he also started to speak

Hallelujah, oh glory to God!
Wasn’t the cop a believer and baptized with the Holy Spirit, already understanding the mystery?
Then, the people were astonished and said
Hey folks, don’t touch him, no!
Don’t touch him, this thing spreads!

And it really does, brother! Start glorifying God wherever you are
He can fill you with power today
In the kitchen, in the living room, in the bedroom, on the porch
Sweeping, washing dishes, cleaning the house, however you are
Glorify!

That’s how the God of the Holy Bible is
He decides and does it the way He wants
If He promises, He fulfills! He never fails
That’s how it is! That’s just how He is
Don’t worry, brother! Just give glory
Let the people say it’s absurd
Tear it all down, but what He says, He fulfills
Even if it seems crazy to the world
