Jesus em Jericó

Jesus In Jericho
How long did that man wait to see?
How long did he walk without seeing?
How many times have you needed someone to guide you?
How many times did he go, go, but not know how to return?
How many times did he murmur to God?
How many times did he ask: Lord, make me see?
How many times did he cry, under the weight of his cross?
How long was he without seeing the light?
When he heard that Jesus
He performed miracles in Capernaum
He gave light to the blind, he healed the sick
Without being blessed there was none left
He heard that in Nain too
The widow's son Jesus is resurrected
He also raised Jairus' daughter from the dead
In a village ten lepers were cured
And that's when that blind man
Moved by faith, I wanted to see Jesus
At the edge of a road, sadly begging
He also heard that Jesus was going to pass by there
Because Jesus was already in Jericho
And suddenly he heard a noise ring out
He asked what it was, someone told him it was Jesus
That is passing, healing and saving
The blind man said: It is now
That I will see
Son of David, have mercy!
Have mercy, Son of David!
Son of David, have mercy
Have mercy on me!
Son of David, have mercy!
Have mercy, Son of David!
Son of David, have mercy
Have mercy on me!
(Hallelujah!)
And Jesus heard him
(Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!)
And the crowd stopped
And they brought Bartimaeus to Jesus
And Jesus asked: (What do you want Me to do for you?)
(Sir, I want to see)
(And Jesus said) (Then see!)
Bartimaeus immediately saw it and was very happy
Because he saw the face of the Savior for the first time
Because he saw the face of the Savior for the first time
Son of David, have mercy!
Have mercy, Son of David!
Son of David, have mercy
Have mercy on me!
Son of David, have mercy!
Have mercy, Son of David!
Son of David, have mercy
Have mercy on me!
