Walking with God
Lord, it's so hard for us to continue amidst the pain
It's so hard to look ahead without fear
When behind us is the adversary in fury
Lord, it's so hard to close our eyes, ignore,
The thorns of the path piercing our flesh
To make the light shine in the darkness in tribulation.
But I won't give up or step back for a minute
There's an abyss between the difficult and the impossible in living
You called me and chose me and I won't turn back
Upon me is the anointing, I put my hand to the plow, and I won't look back
I want to walk with you, my Lord
In the valley, in the desert, wherever, here's the secret to not give up
And if I get hurt on the journey, I'll look to the target and continue
Nothing in this world will stop me.
Like Enoch, who walked with you, let them see me walking with the Lord
