When the day dawns I say:
how lucky I am to witness,
how the dark night ends
that brought pain and bitterness to my land.
And there I see the man
who rises, grows, and becomes stronger.
When the day dawns I feel
that your love grows with time
and will give me a hand in my hair
and will give me pain and comfort.
When the day dawns I say
to my two children to bring the light
from their eyes to illuminate
so much hope for work and bread.
When the day dawns I think
about the rally at six in the center
where the whole town will be shouting:
to defend what has been achieved!
