The hummingbird
The hummingbird of seven lights,
the hummingbird of seven flowers,
looks for a thimble to live,
his loves are unfortunate,
without a house to go
far from the world and the flowers.
His love is illegal, sir,
come back another day and at another time,
the hummingbird must marry
to live with the female hummingbird.
I don't rent this thimble
to this illegal traffic.
The hummingbird finally left
with his loves to the garden
and there came a ferocious cat
to devour them both:
the hummingbird of seven flowers
the colorful female hummingbird.
They were eaten by an infernal cat
but their death was legal.
