Nails driven into his hands
Nails driven into his feet and the blood
Flowing on the ground
A crown of thorns
Driven into his forehead
Wounds all over his body
This scene is impactful
His cross was in the middle
Between two criminals He was
Why doesn't He come down from this cross and save us
One of these criminals spoke like this
On solid ground the soldiers mocked
They told Him to come down from the cross
And end this suffering, if you really are
The son of God, the king Jesus
He did not come down from the cross
Because of you, for loving you too much
To not see you suffer
