Salté
Anne Lukin
I Jumped
I jumped and didn’t see it coming
I let my instincts take over and I flew
I never believed that a fantasy like this
Could become reality
Just by jumping
The wind always pulled me back
And wouldn’t let me see anything else
And now that I’m here
I don’t know what to do
I don’t know if I should keep dreaming
Or just fly around
I’ll hold on to my true self
And I’ll sing, staying true
I won’t forget my roots
I won’t forget who I am
I let myself go and jumped
