Eve
Annett Louisan
Eve
My friend Eve is active
Always thinks positive
Knows no low moods
Her boyfriend Steve is athletic
She’s pure as can be
And attractive too
She’s creative, decorative
Sensitive, she lives life to the fullest
For the way that pisses me off
There’s no adjective
When I see Eve, I say: "Hey, Eve..."
When I meet Eve, I say: "Hey, Eve..."
But with Eve
Nothing ever goes wrong
She’s super communicative
Persuasive in her arguments
Instinctively
Eve masters
Her job with ease
And the daily grind
She’s progressive, alternative
Innovative, very impulsive
Skillful and effective
I hate her to the core
When I see Eve, I say: "Hey, Eve..."
When I meet Eve, I say: "Hey, Eve..."
If I were Eve, I’d have Steve
My life would be fulfilled
And not so primitive
If only, hypothetically
What if things went better for me
I’m only perfect, unfortunately
In the subjunctive
When I see Eve, it makes me aggressive
When I meet Eve, I cross the street, and I mean it.
