Roma Capoccia
Antonello Venditti
Rome Capoccia
How beautiful you are Rome when it's evening
When the moon reflects
Inside the big fountain
And the couples go away
How beautiful you are Rome when it rains
How beautiful you are Rome when it's sunset
When the orange blushes
Still on the seven hills
And the windows are many eyes
That seem to say: How beautiful you are
Today it seems to me that
Time has stopped here
I see the majesty of the Colosseum
I see the sanctity of the big dome
And I am more alive and I am better
I will never leave you
Rome Capoccia of the infamous world
A carriage goes with two foreigners
An old junk dealer asks you for some rags
The sparrows are nightingales
I was born in Rome
I discovered you this morning
