Passos Silentes

Silent Steps
Whose are these silent steps
Wherever I go, I always hear whispers
It's Jesus who is always present
Walking among us with courage
Whose are these arms so strong
That support me with so much love
I used to live in the valley of death
But one day Jesus saved me
Why is it my good Jesus that loves me so much
I acknowledge that I am so sinful
But Jesus still loves me
Whose are these hands that hold
My hands and don't let them fall
Whose are these fingers that heal
And command demons to leave
Who will this powerful being be
Who dominates and transforms my being
No one has blood so glorious
The blood of Jesus has power
Whose is this voice that commands me
To go beyond and seek the sheep
Whose is this so serene voice
Whose is this unique love
For whom were these hands pierced
For whom was your cry on the cross
Forgiving those who crucified him
I was also there, my Jesus
