Es Mi Momento
Antonio Orozco
It's My Moment
Staked in the garden of the universe,
On my knees and slowly waiting for my moment.
Waiting for my dreams to have an owner,
For the moment to be perfect
And the framing to be right.
I get lost in the doubts
Of the same color,
Of the same flavor.
And time full of moments
That are getting lost
Leaving you in the street in half-light.
Owners of the drawer of stories
That I was writing
For every time the train slipped away.
I think of holding on tight to my moment.
Escaping when the storm comes,
Disregarding the resale
And leaving the accounts behind.
Waiting for the days to be perfect,
For the muses to have time
And the future not to be uncertain.
I take off the armor,
Only love, hope, and I remain.
And time full of moments
That are getting lost
Leaving you in the street in half-light.
Owners of the drawer of stories
That I was writing
For every time the train slipped away.
