A Mi Manera
Antonio Prieto
My Way
The end is near, the curtain falls and this is my life
and see, I will only say, that until the end I was sincere.
I lived, I know I failed, I took all the paths
and more and much more, my way.
I fell, more than once, but I also told myself to get up,
because it was also my duty, despite the consequences,
I was capable of everything, I tried everything on the paths
and I took everything, my way.
I did something wrong, I lived too much, I didn't hide it,
but I never doubted, then when paying,
it was also more, I tried everything, I faced everything
and endured it, my way.
I loved, I laughed and cried, I triumphed, I lost, I asked for it all,
but today, when I remember, I find it all amusing,
if anyone forced me, I can say, without shyness,
or not, I just did it, my way.
What is a man?, what can he do?,
if a man is not, he cannot speak,
nor show, that he felt something, but I know that I lived,
I tried it, or did it wrong, my way.
