El Sitio de Mi Recreo
Antonio Vega
The Place of My Recreation
Where imagination took us
Where with eyes closed
Infinite fields are seen
Where the first light was created
The seed of blue sky sprouted
I will return to that place where I was born
Of sun, ear of wheat, and desire
Are his hands in my hair
Of snow, hurricane, and abysses
The place of my recreation
Wind that in its murmur seems to speak
Moves the world and gracefully you see it dance
And with it the stage of my home
Sea, silver tray, infernal sea
It's a natural temperament
It costs little or nothing to be one more
Of sun, ear of wheat, and desire
Are his hands in my hair
Of snow, hurricane, and abysses
The place of my recreation
Silence, breeze, and sanity
Give breath to my madness
There is snow, there is fire, there is desire
There where I recreate
Where imagination took us
