Enganchado a Una Señal de Bus
Antonio Vega
Hooked on a Bus Signal
I don't understand how you can sleep
To not sleep and then get up
I don't understand the speed of time
Not even to people who don't move a moment
I'm walking to nowhere
Changing trains at the wind station
I see bat claws at night
I see shadows that merge with mine
The sound of the city recorded on tracks
That mixture that enters through your eyes
The circuit goes from bar to bar
You have to dodge and not break the thread
These are the ways to fight with style
Hooked to a bus signal
And the story keeps changing the subject
Not everyone is the same as everyone else
Now the sound comes slowly
And the light, until tomorrow, goes away
There doesn't seem to be anyone on the street
But it is the game of the fleeting shadow
I don't understand anything about car traffic
Not even buildings made like boats
All at the same time and at the same speed
It is not possible to decipher it before knocking down
To the bar-corner-bar circuit
Three laps are made against the clock
There is another better place right away
Hooked to a bus signal
And the story keeps changing the subject
Not everyone is the same as everyone else
Now time blows with whim
Slow motion laughter finale
I don't know what goes slower anymore
If people or light in a flash
