I see bat claws in the night
I see shadows blending with mine
The sound of the city recorded on tracks
That mix that hits you in the eyes
The circuit goes from bar to bar
Gotta dodge and not break the thread

Hooked on a bus signal
And the story keeps changing the subject
Not everyone is the same as the rest
Now the sound comes in slow
And the light, it fades till tomorrow
Doesn't seem like there's anyone on the street
But it's the game of the fleeting shadow
I don't understand the traffic of cars
Or buildings made like boats
All at once and at the same speed
Impossible to figure it out before it crashes
At the bar-corner-bar circuit
Three laps against the clock
Soon there's a better spot
Hooked on a bus signal
