Seasons
Up the street, I walked calmly
To meet a cold winter
That I let pass.
Turning the corner and on the sidewalk,
I came face to face with spring,
I didn't see it coming.
A summer without excuse
In autumn, the muse forgot me
Let me go.
I fell asleep in the seasons
And now the train stopped for vacation
Doesn't want to start.
The whistle is the new hope
And finally the fields out there,
Are left behind.
The snowy season is approaching
I go down and fulfill years gone by
And one more star.
The colors are drawn,
Alive in the magic of the flowers
In the vital light.
Surrounded by luggage
That get lost between trip and trip,
It remains to remember.
And that's why I live the day,
Simple day, clear day,
At least I live without fears
Without the fear of enjoying.
Every town, every bridge,
Every crossing has taught me
That today is enough.
Up the street, I walked calmly
To meet a dreamed summer
That had to pass.
Turning the corner at the first one
Autumn showed me who I was
Invited me to think.
The colors are drawn,
Alive in the magic of the flowers
In the vital light.
Surrounded by luggage
That get lost between trip and trip,
It remains to remember.
And that's why I live the day
Simple day, clear day
At least I live without fears
Without the fear of enjoying.
Every town, every bridge,
Every crossing has taught me
That today is enough
And tomorrow is too much.
And that's why I live the day
Simple day, clear day.
At least I live without fears
Without the fear of enjoying.
Every town, every bridge,
Every crossing has taught me
That today is enough
And tomorrow is too much.
