Years and centuries have passed since this church
Was born on that great day of Pentecost
When the hundred and twenty were baptized
By the Holy Spirit of God
From that day on, this church began to walk
Strengthened by the great power of God
And all the time we've been persecuted
By those who wanted to see our destruction
If this church marches triumphantly today
It's not because of the Pentecostal name
It's because it has been given a name
An admirable name, great and unmatched
It's in the name of Jesus that this church
Has never been and will never be defeated
Jesus said it, the gates of hell
Will not prevail against this church
To Jesus Christ, we sing today
For this great triumph that He gave us
For that blood He shed on Calvary
Washed away our sins and guilt
And in His name, we are baptized
As the word of God says
For there is no other name given to men
By which we can be saved
