Die Hymne Des Winters Zorn
Arathorn
The Anthem of Winter's Wrath
[Gericke 15.11.1994]
Once was the Northland, ancient and grand,
so powerful, splendid, so majestically cold,
white were the mountains, dark was the sea,
the land of my fathers, lying in snow!
Almighty gods ruled over the land,
overthrown by sickness, trampled, burned.
Oh, take me, you wrath, you wrath of their vengeance,
take your throne, hail Northland, awaken!
Now the bells ring, from tower to tower
and the last storm will come,
it was once white, the winter's gown,
dirtied, by Christianity!
Beware, oh Christian world,
the suffering will be great when your throne falls,
it will rise again, the Germanic flesh,
hail Northland - hail our realm...
Odes of pain, my horn is filled,
with hate I play, these anthems of winter's wrath!
