God's promises do not fail
They will certainly be fulfilled
It may take time, many may doubt
God is God, His word will not fail

If they want to mock or even laugh
Nothing changes what will be
For in God's time, in the wisdom of the Father
You can wait
You can trust
You can announce
That it will happen

So it was in Noah's days
So it will be at the very end
Many will not believe
Until the first drop came
Until the sky turned dark
When laughter turned to tears
When eyes finally believed
When they sadly understood
If God says, it will be so

God's clock does not fail
And the time will come
Put your faith in the Lord, put your life on the altar
Stay in peace, your place is guaranteed

If they fall by your side, reach out your hand
Help them up
For God's people, the Father's remnant
Will not be discouraged
Will triumph
Will announce
Soon Jesus will return

Soon Jesus will come
Soon the sky will open
What a great day! What joy!
To finally see Him arrive!
