Hechos a Pulso
Argemiro Jaramillo
Built from Scratch
I come from the bottom, my cradle was poor
There with my humble people I was raised
I didn't have fortune, nor a noble last name
But with effort, I achieved my goals
I also didn't have a golden cradle
From the mud below I come as well
I had to carve my own path
To reach the achievements that you see now
I never had a godfather
To pull out a checkbook
So that in a short time
I'd be the sensation artist
I spent my whole life
Pleading and knocking on doors
So that you would open
A place in my heart
I also knocked on a thousand doors
Since I was little
And I fought with great dedication
In search of my ideal
I felt defeated at times
But in the end, I achieved my dream
And today I thank my people
For their unconditional support
I was matured, based on falls
But God would lift my head up again
I was made in the street, I graduated in life
Under the principles of a humble home
I didn't have degrees, diplomas, or anything
And I'm never ashamed of who I am
Because I have God and my beloved people
And there are many with money who envy me today
And here we are both conquering the world
And opening borders today with our voice
Born from the bottom and built from scratch
Venting sorrows with verses the two of us
Singing and healing the pain of many
And thanking the people and God
