Supreme council of Jerusalem
In the tribunal
They gathered to judge the son of God
What condemnable act did he do?
What kind of crime did he commit?
Some say intentional
Others say accidental
But what will be his?
They assembled a grand jury
To kill Jesus
A death penalty was cast there
In all of Israel
Never before was seen
Someone judged like this

He was condemned, for he healed the blind
He was condemned for stopping the wind
He was condemned because he forgave
Because he took away the pain
Removed the suffering
He was guilty because he brought life
Four days dead he was
He was persecuted, for in the crowd
He spread anointing, healing all people

The tribunal opened session
The priest without reason
To condemn my Jesus
Cast on the cross as prison
They don't know what they did
They killed the master at once
Lost in the popular jury, but sin he
Overcame

Sing, he faced death for you
To give you the right to live
Celebrate his name giving glory take possession of victory
So sing
Awake, it's time to react
He cried to see you smile
The price that was paid on Calvary
Changed the whole scenario for you

Jesus won
And triumphed over death
And all hell there lost Jesus won
