To stand up you need support
To be high the root must be stronger
Like the palm tree, digging the soil deeply
Until touching the water and finding sustenance for its beauty
It's not always easy, there are moments of afflictions
Dark days unbalance our walk
But the Bible says the palm tree brings other lessons

But when the wind goes, the palm tree rises

The enemy rises to try to stop you
He even devours what has no root
But it wasn't always the way he wanted
I am anchored in the rock, my sustenance is the Lord
And there is no storm to shake my faith
If necessary, I humble myself, I can even bend
