El Jacal
Arley Perez
The Jacal
This is my story
Today I tell it to you
This is my life
Recognized
By the whole town
I am a good person
I like to give
And I am sought after
By the government
And protected
By Culiacan
I never believed
Not even in dreams
What in my life
With great effort
I was building
I always dreamed
Of having a lot of money
But that much
Became quite enough
Until now
I don't even know what I have
As a child, I watched
The fools
I went out on the street
To see
What their fate was
Now they follow
My caravans
But just like them
Used to deceive me
I lose myself
Among the mountains
I have people
Very well trained
And very honest
Who are not
Dazzled by the money
They know very well
That here they earn gold
And I know that for me
They give everything
I don't think they want
To bury themselves alone
Oh holy mother
I do no wrongs
I just eliminate
All that is bad
And all sin
Remember it is
Better to hear
Them cry in front
Of our home
Than for it to be
One of us
They mourn
I am very proud
Of my children
Because in their veins
Runs blood
That is unstoppable
To my people
I thank you
For them I am
El Mayo Zambada
The one who lived
In that jacal
