El Retrato
Arley Perez
The Portrait
Why do they publish if they knew me
So much the media government and militia
Today they don't remember that they lived
So much with me and with my family
If they fell on me and I don't deny it
I wear a cap in case they saw me
It's from my blood, it's a hat
But in my land I owe nothing
That portrait is where they want
But I am far from the networks
Some fingers threw the net
It didn't work for them because they warned me
If I saw her close when they arrived
I was already leaving the ranch
Also my people came out fighting
Armored cars and weapons they found
I'm not a saint and I don't overdo it
If they found that it's because I carry
People with me securing
If something happens, I take charge
They didn't find the one they wanted
But there I leave them this portrait
I know they won't see it with pleasure
Because their mission was a failure
