Future
Future is a word
that sounds strange to me
I have no one,
just a dog I can talk to
And my plans, who knows,
I don't even know who I am
Surrounded by hundreds of people,
I still feel so abandoned
They're all there for you
But if you wanted someone,
you stand alone like on the highest
mountain on earth
You live with the times,
you share in hate and envy
And you wonder,
what on earth still has value?
A girl, a home, a diploma,
a friend or a dog
that you can just play with
An idea, belief or conviction,
your work or your guitar, with which you can
captivate people
I'm not the big bear,
sometimes I don't even know myself
And am I the boy who in his bed
cries at night
Wondering why me,
when there are so many others
Why do I owe this animal existence?
