Invejoso
Arnaldo Antunes
Envious
The neighbor's car is much more powerful
And his woman is so interesting
That's why he seems much more potent
His house was recently painted
And when he meets his coworker
He only thinks about how much his salary must be
He wishes he had the boss's secretary
But his bank account has hit rock bottom
At lunchtime, he goes to the diner
To have his glass of water and eat a croquette
While he imagines that restaurant
Where the others must be at that moment
Envious
Desiring what belongs to others is his pleasure
And he keeps brooding until the bone
But his fruit only gives him pits
Envious
Others' good fortune is his sorrow
He wanted a sumptuous palace
but ended up at the bottom of this pit
Then you walk to the gym
Without a car and also without company
He wishes his body was a little more toned
Like that guy who works out next to him
And he's ashamed of his own girlfriend
Thinking that his friends will make fun
He wants a woman like the ones in magazines
A flight attendant, a receptionist
And when he gets home, he turns on the TV
Sees so many people happier than you
He turns off the light in bed and before sleeping
He thinks about what to do to achieve
What belongs to others
Desiring what belongs to others is his pleasure
And he keeps brooding until the bone
But his fruit only gives him pits
Envious
Others' good fortune is his sorrow
He wanted a sumptuous palace
but ended up at the bottom of this pit
