I don't know why Christ loves me and wants to take care of me,
I don't know why He gave Himself on the cross, but I am happy because He saved me. (2x)

He left His throne up in glory, suffered on the cross, what a beautiful story!
But the Master rose again, it was for me. I am so happy because He saved me.
But if Jesus didn't love me and didn't give me His care,
What would become of this poor being. But I am happy because He saved me!
