Nostalgia
It's been a long time since I've roamed the world
I've lived so little!
I've worn myself out a lot!
Those who rush through life don’t really live
And for a tiring journey, I’d rather be home
The hometown with its old tower
Where even the houses seem to want
To squeeze in tight
I watch the winding road
That twists into knots around every mountain
And then I realize the path is long
And the road is rough
Lord, I’m feeling tired now
I want to go back to the doors of home
And when I arrive surrounded by my people
I’ll tell, like a sailor Sinbad
The thousand and one nights of my adventures
And then I’ll say
It's been a long time since I've roamed the world
I've lived so little!
I've worn myself out a lot!
Those who rush through life don’t really live
And for a tiring journey, I’d rather be home
