Soledad Jujuy 1941
Atahualpa Yupanqui
Solitude Jujuy 1941
When I go far away, through stone paths
Seeking the best clarity from the peaks
With an old memory and a new hope
I will compose songs for my solitude
When I go far away, through the highlands
And the rough path of the scrubland tires me
In the passing wind and the dreaming star
I will learn songs for my solitude
And if I die on the trails, unknown hands
Will humbly leave their prayers together
And some arriero kolla, lord of distances
Will sing his bagualas for my solitude
