La Belleza
Luis Eduardo Aute
The Beauty
Enemy of war and its reverse, the medal
I did not propose another battle than to free the heart
From lying on the ground, under the passage of a story
That was going to raise the power of reason to glory
And now that there are no more trenches
The battle is the ladder
And whoever climbs to the top
Will save their head
Even if it sinks into the asphalt
The beauty
The beauty
The beauty, the beauty
The beauty
Look at them, like reptiles stalking their prey
Negotiating at every table, occasion makeups
They follow all the rails that lead to the summit
Crazy for us to dazzle with their parasitic ambition
Before they went as prophets
And now success is their goal
Merchants, traffickers
More than nausea, they give sadness
They didn't touch for a moment
The beauty
The beauty
The beauty, the beauty
The beauty
And they spoke to me of fraternal, supportive futures
Where everything false would end up in the trash
And now there are no more walls, we are not so equal
The more you sell, the more you're worth, long live the revolution!
I claim the mirage
Of trying to be oneself
That journey to nothing
Which consists of the certainty
Of finding in your gaze
The beauty
The beauty
The beauty, the beauty
The beauty
