Amor a Mares
Luis Eduardo Aute
Love by the Seas
To the thread of some people's opinions
Who say the world is falling apart
And that the wicked twenty-first century
Is digging its own early grave
I ask those new Jeremiahs
To stop lamenting over the walls
The sad end of a utopia
That put its future up for auction
And now without favor
We'll have to drown
So much horror
From so many hardships and sorrows
With a good flood that spills out love
Love by the seas
Let the heads of the sects take charge
The priests of the golden calves
And the elite of the right law
The ruin of the ark without treasure
And let them know that all their laurels
Will be leaves carried away by the wind
That all their honey will turn to gall
In the most foolish moment
Opposite to these opposers
There they go to the tune of the elements
The fugitives of the pirate power
And the god of some series savior
Lost, but never losers
And on the sidelines of elbows and climbs
Those who are nothing but dreamers
Will be the most beautiful part of nothing
