Buitres Y Tiburones
Luis Eduardo Aute
Vultures And Sharks
When I wake up
And the nights find me
Far from sleep
Surrendered, to the embrace
That the bed gives me
I'm fighting battles
Against my body
I lift the weight
Of my burnt flesh
Through a thousand hells
I take it to the street
To cool off
And I light up a cloud
Against the nerves
And the smoke twists
And then draws figures
The passersby transform
Into vultures and sharks
Vultures and sharks
I feel approaching
Monstrous presences
Everywhere
Vultures with human faces
And eyes of nobody
Sharks with hands
Full of hunger
The day is born
Shadows are gathered
Behind the gates
And the wolf's mouth
Hides its jaws
A smell of defeat
Perfumes the air
