La Decadencia
Luis Eduardo Aute
The Decadence
The barbarian came from gold
With tricks and fantasies
From the enlightened reason
He sold, for rich treasures
Futures of merchandise
Blinding the philosophy
Of making life, a passion
Processed in memory
The transcendence
From the end of history
Another science is born
The decadence
Left behind are the roses
Of Arcadias that were thorns
Stabbed in the heart
It's no longer the why of things
The light of the divine flame
Proclaims the killing light
Of its own contradiction
The body no longer seeks the soul
Which is an eruption of the mind
In the grave of reflection
At last, calm has arrived
And the East is now in the West
Let's buy from God the patent
And the brand of His creation
