Crucifixo

I went out looking for someone, some place
Where I could have a reason to live
I couldn't go on like this anymore
Living without knowing what to do with myself

My loneliness couldn't take it anymore,
Not even a song brought me back peace
I got disillusioned, thought about giving up,
I had no hope
So I stayed in the room,
Crying not knowing
The tomorrow I had to live

And suddenly on the wall I saw
You opening your arms to me
And something in your gaze
Changed everything inside me...
And a joy then came
Filling my heart with peace
Bringing a motive, a reason
To never stay like this again...
