The sound of something breaking
I suddenly wake up from sleep
A strange sound fills the air
I try to block my ears but can't fall asleep

My throat keeps hurting
Trying to comfort myself
But I have no voice
Today, I still hear that sound

It's ringing again
It pierces through the frozen lake
I left myself in that lake
I buried my voice for you

Above the winter lake that threw me away
Thick ice has formed
Even in the dream I briefly entered
The phantom pain that torments me remains

Did I lose myself
Or did I lose you
Suddenly, I run to the lake
My face is there in the reflection

Please, don't say anything
I try to cover my mouth with my hand
But eventually, someday spring will come
The ice will melt and flow away

Tell me, if my voice is fake
