Personne D'autre Que Moi
Barbara Pravi
No One But Me
We spend our lives putting on coats
A little too big or too small, never very beautiful
And we wrap ourselves in them, curled up, it reassures us
We spend our time looking for the new
The different, the latest trend, more or less hot
And we hide behind this mask, just a facade
But me, whether I'm covered up or seen for real
I don't give a damn like stories in the present
I take it all off
I could walk around naked, without fear
Without worrying that people will laugh at me
Because my body hides from everyone's view
A heart so delicate
Alone at night, it bares itself
Reveals its brilliance to the shadows
But no one has ever seen it
No one but me
Summer, winter, no matter the seasons
We know how to handle it, we always camouflage ourselves accordingly
More tears or charms, as you prefer
But me, I say out loud what I think inside
I don't care, I can also pretend
So well, I play
I could walk around naked, without fear
Without worrying that people will laugh at me
Because my body hides from everyone's view
A heart so delicate
I could walk around naked, without fear
Without worrying that people will laugh at me
Because my body hides from everyone's view
A heart so delicate
Alone at night, it bares itself
Reveals its brilliance to the shadows
But no one has ever seen it
No one but me
No one but me
