Travesía Urbana
Barón Rojo
Urban Journey
A new day was breaking,
letting go of moorings, I set sail
It's not easy to go sailing
through the restless waters of a tough city, you know it well.
To begin, you must immerse yourself
in the underground and gray current
Crazy worms spitting light
open their mouths swallowing the crowd
Knowing how to dive is almost vital
if you want to get out of there.
Journey of salt, smoke, and the storm
that picks up again
An island of peace, green, with a sparrow
learning to swim.
A blonde mermaid approached
I was escaping and she caught me
Then I knew I was going to shipwreck
among the foamy waves of her passion
She offers me pleasure, I fall into the trap
Her embrace could drown me.
Journey of sun, a sandy beach, sweat,
the Plaza Mayor
A cave at the end, where quenching thirst
and never return.
Reefs of iron and concrete
Dirty remains of a sunken ship
This journey comes to an end
Return to the port I departed from
My ship adrift without sails goes
I am a navigator exploring the black sea of my city.

Journey from Ventas to Colón, Callao, Retiro, and Bilbao.
A light guided me home, and there I managed to land.
