(1) Lie,
a reason not to step
into your system,
some words that fall
to the ground,
a question I’ll have
about my body,
and my mind resists
and doesn’t understand,
that it’s too late,
that it doesn’t get anything
that it’s told,
that it’s a fool,
it’s hard to hold on.
