The Overcoat
-Trrrrrrr Rajale-
This morning dawned cloudy,
this morning the sun dimmed its light,
maybe it was because you're not by my side,
maybe it was the bus smog.
This morning was very cold,
so I had to wrap myself in your overcoat,
that and your flip-flops were all you left
when you went back to Michoacan.
And your overcoat doesn't let me forget you,
this overcoat speaks of you daily.
Because it smells like pulque because for a whole month
you wore it, getting drunk and that's why I kicked you out.
-And You're Really Drunk, Man, You Got Me Drunk-
This morning, I boiled guava leaves,
I put a lot of alcohol on them in your memory,
I had three jugs but the cold wouldn't go away,
and I continued with little cups of zotol.
Already half drunk following a hope,
I bought a ticket to Morelia, Michoacan,
there your parents gave me this news,
she went to live in a Magellan in Perivan.
And your overcoat, doesn't let me forget you,
this overcoat speaks of you daily.
Because it smells like pulque because for a whole month
you wore it, getting drunk and that's why I kicked you out...
-And Now I Miss You, My Soul-
