Lucifer
"I love you! I love you more than Jesus!" [Lucifer, The Prophecy]
I am dark amidst the storms, a divine flame,
Flying with a moan into the distance - like a deaf bell of the north -
In the darkness of the mountains, I ignite the redness of dawn
With the spark of my pains, the star of my helplessness.
I am the king of comets - and the spirit whirls within me
Like desert dust into a fleeting pyramid -
I am the thunderstorm - yet quieter than the tomb
I hide the deadness and horror of my graves.
I - the abyss of rainbows - would weep over myself
Like the cold wind on withered reeds of the pond -
I am the flash of volcanoes - and in the muddy lowlands
I walk, like a funeral, with boredom and mourning.
The sea plays on harps - the conflagration of paradises swirls -
And the sun - my enemy sun! rises praising God.
