Transfixed gaze, no idea what happened yesterday

After a cold shower, I'm somewhat
clear again, trembling I look into my
wallet, gaping emptiness where there was money yesterday!

Now I'm sitting naked on the couch,
my head is pounding away
The chick sneaked out secretly
and I wonder about the meaning

Hey why do I keep drinking again
and then this stuff,
I can't figure it out, it's all
crap anyway and I reach for my liquor cabinet!
