Ansiando Libertad

When I escaped through the skies, I was only riding on my heart.
Passion made me blind, but I kept following my other mission.
When I let go of the ties, I had chained my childhood, my feet.
And with aching steps, I found courage fueled by my stubbornness.
Decadent alchemy, that kept hitting me and fear grew.
I choked on my own foam, and now I travel on the wave without inner light.

Longing for freedom, longing for freedom.

When I lost faith, I found a friend in my own pain.
I didn't watch what I said, and ended up suffering from it.
What doesn't bend, breaks, and I learned to be flexible to let go.
And so I jump into the void, much lighter and unbroken.
I fight with the ghosts, the legacy of my generation.
I fight and keep trying to find a spark in my inner fire.
