La Mesera
Bertín Y Lalo
The Waitress
In a small inn
That looked like a restaurant
I went in to have some tacos
Because I was hungry
You know hunger is tough
But tougher is the one who endures it
A brunette approached me
Who was really good-looking
She said: What can I get you, you can order whatever you want
Sir, I'm here to serve you, I'm the waitress here
Just by looking at that dark-skinned girl
I forgot about the tacos
I said: Bring beer, serve two chicken dishes
You sit with me to have some fun
I asked her: Are you married?
She replied: I live alone
But before serving you
I started playing the piano
Just put a coin in
Because it doesn't play by itself
I don't even know how many we had
Me and my waitress friend
The thing is we even danced
Close to being drunk
We sang 'La Cucaracha'
And I think even 'La Rielera'
When night fell
I said: What time are we leaving?
She said: Not so fast, we didn't agree on that
But if you bring some money, we can even dance a polka
