I'm not from here and I don't have
a 'Basque' surname,
and I don't spill
any precious blood like someone said.
but I happily learned
the language of this place
and in Basque society
I am deeply involved
because my colors
and my origins
in this town
are not important.

the Afro-Basque identity
and I understand
the unity of Basque tribes,
but in all oppressed nations
around the world
