The Good Samaritan
I never met anyone who had so much love
No matter the condition of the one he found
And he reached out his hand
Gave him new life
Hope returned to his heart
For many passed by and saw him bleed
They didn't want to dirty their hands
They left him without looking back
And a farmer passing by
Saw him lying there and felt his pain
He healed him with oil
Bandaged his wounds
To the inn he took him
Paid for his stay
Today I think with simplicity
That the image of that man is me
