A Semente
Bezerra da Silva
The Seed
My neighbor threw
A seed in his backyard
Suddenly sprouted
A tremendous thicket (my neighbor threw)
When someone asked him
What weed is this that I've never seen?
He only replied
I don't know, I don't recognize it, it grew there
But dirt started to appear
The neighborhood was always involved
Because the smell was good
And there was always a group of guys there
The men became suspicious
Seeing a gathering every day
And they made the perfect move
And took them all for investigation and then
At the time of the commotion, the scoundrel shouted
No need to beat me, I'll give you everything, boss
Look, I know that weed, chief
And I also know who planted it
When the federal agents wiretapped
And took the innocent neighbor
To the police station he said
Doctor, I'm not a farmer, I don't know the seed
