He's the chosen one, this Harry Potter guy
That's what everyone said when he appeared
When the greatest dark wizard attacked
He killed everyone, but Harry didn't die

He survived but since his parents were dead
He had to live with his aunt and uncle, that's where he grew up
His little room was under the stairs
He was always mistreated, he never understood why

When he turned 11 alone
He saw an owl that would change his life
And explain why he was different
And why that place wasn't his

Even though his aunt and uncle tried
To interfere with that communication
A certain Hagrid went to find him
And made a revelation to him

You're a wizard and it's time for the truth
You have to go to school to study with a professor
You'll learn to perform many spells
And be more protected from evil and terror

Harry Potter accepted and went with Hagrid
To buy his supplies in Diagon Alley
He was impressed by his fame
That's where he felt he was truly special

At platform nine and three quarters
He was eager to board
He became friends with a red-haired boy and during the journey
He talked with Ron

When a nosy girl appeared

Harry Potter showed his courage by preventing the evil
From returning right there
But the truth is that every wizard in the world
Saw that Voldemort wanted to rise again

In the following year, Harry met Dobby
And with the elf another friendship was formed
But suddenly
Some students at the school were petrified
No one could explain

The Chamber of Secrets was opened
And some accused Harry this time
Ginny had Tom Riddle's diary
He ordered and the girl did

Harry dueled with the basilisk
He was injured and discovered that Tom Riddle was evil

Escaped from Azkaban and then disappeared

At Hogwarts, an arrogant witch
Named Dolores Umbridge appeared there
She constantly pursued Harry Potter
Didn't want to believe in Voldemort's return

But Dumbledore's Army came after
With people who preferred to trust
Harry Potter and learn to defend
If Voldemort and his gang attack

Voldemort, treacherous, shameless
To get the prophecy, he managed to deceive Harry
He put a false message in his mind
Sirius Black imprisoned and Voldemort torturing

Harry gathered his comrades from the Army
And they managed to get rid of Dolores
They quickly ended up in an ambush
And started fighting the Death Eaters

The Order of the Phoenix arrived
And Bellatrix killed Sirius, look what she did
With Dumbledore, Voldemort then fought
But evil lost once again

Voldemort sent poison to be delivered
To kill Dumbledore but Draco hesitated
And the director begins to reveal to Harry
How Voldemort's evil originated

The horcruxes were parts of the soul
To make him immortal, that's why Dumbledore took
That horcrux in a ring
But the destruction of the jewel condemned him to death

Harry Potter didn't know what to do
With Dumbledore murdered unforgivably
Snape had made a pact with Draco
He would help him fulfill his mission

So, Harry Potter at that moment
Decided to leave school to focus on getting
Finding and destroying the horcruxes
Only then could Voldemort be destroyed

Feeling the blood in his throat
Harry, Ron, and Hermione wouldn't give up
They invaded the dominated ministry
To get the locket and then escape

Ron stayed altered by the horcrux
But then helped Harry to get
The sword hidden in a pond
And destroy the locket with great effort

With Luna's friend's father the trio understood
Captured, they went to Malfoy's house
They escaped from there but Dobby died

They returned to the castle, found more horcruxes
But Harry Potter didn't prevent
Voldemort from killing Snape and after that
Harry understood that Snape had always protected him

And Harry Potter knowing he's a horcrux
Just wanted to die to end the terror
But Voldemort with the Elder Wand
Only destroyed the horcrux when he attacked

And when Neville killed Nagini
Voldemort sensed he would be defeated
Because all the pieces of his soul
Had been destroyed, it was time to die

And Harry Potter fulfilled the prophecy
That said only one of the two would live
And with Ginny he formed a family
And his scar will never hurt again
